Last day using Workbook 3, Workbook 4 after Halloween.
These children aged 9 and 10 are able to memorize a 4 bar rhythm, then memorize a melody in solfa to go with the rhythm. Then they are able to write on the stave that melody in any number of keys, play the melody on the hand stave and of course sing in beautifully as well. What a joy to be teaching such diligent children. A lot of fun and learning to pack into a 40 min class week after week !
